The outcome of our time together will be a Birth “Plan” that covers a variety of contingencies so that you will be prepared, whichever way your birth goes. This package will prepare you to ask the right questions of your providers so that you feel informed and empowered throughout your birth. This is not intended to replace a childbirth education class.

Birth Vision Planning includes:

• Two meetings in the prenatal period. The first meeting will focus on your beliefs around birth, your history as it relates to pregnancy and birth, general childbirth education, tips for working with your provider, a review of common interventions, etc. I will leave you with resources to begin drafting your birth preferences. The second meeting will be an overview of your draft of birth preferences, revision ideas, and what questions to ask in your remaining prenatal appointments.

• Ongoing text, phone call, and email support throughout your pregnancy.

• A birth story processing appointment (in-person or virtual) where you can tell me how your birth went. I will leave you with additional resources to support you and baby in the postpartum period.
